Alex Procton
I'm Alex Procton
a data scientist and consultant
working at the intersection of agriculture, climate, and sustainability.
I studied Biology and Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College and received a master's in Conservation Biology from Columbia University. Since then, I have worked as a data analyst on commodity trading desks, analyzing the supply and demand of wheat, corn, soybeans, cattle, and more.
Currently I am focused on how regenerative agriculture can help create climate resilience and mitigate severe climate change, particularly through voluntary carbon markets. I am available on a consulting basis as a data scientist and subject matter expert in agricultural data and carbon footprinting. I also write a newsletter, Green Tech Futures, which covers climate tech and commodity markets.
